General Terms and Conditions
We will request your personal information and your preferred payment method:
Credit Card: This is an easy, fast, and secure method. The reservation is made automatically and immediately.
Bank Transfer: We will send you an email with detailed instructions to complete the process. Please note that the reservation will not be confirmed until you email us the receipt of the corresponding bank transfer.
To confirm the reservation, you will need to pay a percentage of the total amount, which depends on the apartment, but it is typically 30%.
The remaining balance can be paid online a few days before your arrival via credit card, bank transfer, or in cash during check-in at the apartment.
Once the reservation is made, you will receive a confirmation email. Please save this email and have it available, as it contains all the necessary information for accessing the apartment or making any inquiries: the exact address of the apartment, the contact person’s phone number, pending payment details, and more.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
Cancellation policies vary depending on each property. You can view these conditions on each property’s page. Remember that you must notify us of the cancellation via email, including your reservation ID.
Date changes are allowed to add days before or after the reserved dates, provided they are available. You can also reduce the number of days booked if you notify us at least 7 days prior to the arrival date.
If the apartment you reserved becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances that cannot be resolved, we reserve the right to accommodate you in a similar or even superior apartment.
EVERYTHING ABOUT CHECK-IN
Pre-Arrival Information: At least 72 hours before your arrival, you will receive an email from The Haus BCN requesting information about your arrival time. This is essential for the contact person to organize your check-in and ensure no delays in accessing the apartment.
Arrival Notification: Once you have collected your luggage at the airport or train station, you must call your contact person to inform them that you are on your way to the apartment and your mode of transport (train/taxi/bus/car). If you are driving, please notify us 30 minutes before your arrival. The contact person’s phone number and the apartment’s exact address are included in your reservation confirmation email.
Access Time: Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.
If your flight arrives before the check-in time, we can allow earlier access if the apartment is available and ready, though confirmation will only be possible on the day of your arrival for organizational reasons.
Rental Agreement: Like traditional rentals, we require the signing of a simple rental agreement regulating behavior and rental terms in the apartment. This is mandatory for access. You can request a copy of the agreement after reserving the apartment.
Keys: During check-in, you will receive 2 sets of keys.
Payments:
Outstanding Rental Balance: To access the apartment, the pending rental amount must be paid. Payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash, for which we kindly ask you to prepare the exact amount to expedite the process. Payment details are included in your reservation confirmation email.
Credit Card Payment: If you wish to pay the outstanding balance by credit card, please consult our team in advance.
Refundable Security Deposit: A security deposit is required for access to the apartment. Payment can be made via bank transfer or in cash, depending on the apartment’s specific terms outlined in its listing.
EARLY AND LATE CHECK-IN
Fees vary depending on the day and time of arrival. Payment can be made in cash directly to the person handling the check-in or via bank transfer prior to arrival.

8:00 PM to 10:59 PM: €40
11:00 PM to 8:59 AM: €60
Sundays and Public Holidays:
2:00 PM to 7:59 PM: €40
8:00 PM to 8:59 AM: €60
EVERYTHING ABOUT CHECK-OUT
Check-out Time: Check-out is required by 11:00 AM. After this time, our cleaning team will prepare the apartment for the next guest. If you need luggage storage, please consult us in advance. Late check-out can be requested during check-in, with an additional charge of half a day’s rent in low season and a full day’s rent in mid/high season.
Cleaning: The apartment must be left in a reasonable condition, with dishes washed and trash disposed of in street containers. Failure to comply may result in a deduction from the security deposit to cover cleaning costs.
Deposit Refund: The deposit will be refunded after confirming the apartment’s condition. Refunds take 1 to 5 days, depending on whether the deposit was paid via bank transfer or in cash.
Keys: Leave both sets of keys on the table before leaving unless you have arranged a personalized check-out service. Lost or unreturned keys may incur additional charges.
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT
As with any rental, we require a refundable security deposit.
The amount varies between €200 and €500, depending on the apartment. For rentals exceeding one month, the deposit ranges from 50% to 100% of the monthly rent. Each case must be consulted individually.
The refund is processed after the check-out, once the apartment's condition has been verified. Refunds may take 1 to 5 days, depending on the payment method.
Payment Methods:
Cash: The deposit can be paid in cash during check-in. If you prefer a cash refund, you must arrange a check-out service to verify the apartment’s condition upon departure. Check-out fees are the same as check-in fees.
Bank Transfer: Refunds via bank transfer will incur any applicable processing fees, which will be borne by the guest.
CLEANING SERVICES IN APARTMENTS
You will find a clean and tidy space upon arrival.
Final Cleaning: Included in the rental, conducted after your departure and before the next guest's arrival. Cleaning fees vary by apartment and are detailed in each listing.
Extra Cleaning: Additional services can be arranged through our staff. Pricing can be requested before booking or during your stay for rentals longer than a month.
Ongoing Cleaning: For stays over 7 days or monthly rentals, mandatory cleaning every 7 to 15 days includes linen changes. Fees depend on the apartment.
LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Neither The Haus BCN nor the property owner is liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the apartment, including but not limited to damage, losses due to fire, theft, or crime.
The Haus BCN Apartments is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information on its website and reserves the right to modify apartment details, such as prices, descriptions, and photos, at any time.
